70 Pound DOE
Darren was hunting in Clarkson, NY on the ground, out of his fathers stand,
using his fathers seat when he took this doe with a 5 yard shot. She only
went about 20 yards from a complete pass thru shot with a Montec 100 grain
broadhead. He did the deed at 6:35pm.
He has hunted every day of the season this year and weighed the deer the
day after he took her. He is going to cut it up himself.
This picture he sent me is a picture he did at school for some kind of a
graphics class he is taking. The main picture is of a BUCK he won our deer
contest with last year. He added the squirrel up on the roof, a picture in the
background is another picture of Darren with the same BUCK. He also
added the graphics of three companies of which he uses their products. I
am positive we have not seen the last of Darren Jr. for entries in the 2019
deer contest this year. He said, "I should have waited and killed a bigger
DOE for the contest". I said you can enter more than one. All you need for
the contest is a legally tagged deer. He didn't know he could enter more
than one DOE and that and it made his eyes light up. and the gears start
