WNYFAB:(Western NY Field Archers & Bowhunters)

In 2001 Creekwood joined WNYFAB and a hole bunch of people have had a great time shooting competition indoors all winter at seven different clubs in western New York. The shoots begin in December and end in March or April. Check the Creekwood calendar for dates and places. The shoots are always on Sundays. You can shoot at 8:00 am, 11:00 am or 2:00 pm. At the end of the season they have the WNYFAB Championships at one of the clubs. The first year it was at Creekwood Archery and last year it was at Leo's Archery in Buffalo. It is usually the week after the NYFAB INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Later on there is a banquet and all the metals and trophies are given out for their indoor and outdoor competitions.

There are classes for all different ages and equipment types. You will meet a whole lot of nice people and have a great time doing it. There are quite a few Olympic Style (FITA) shooters along with Compound shooters. Boys & girls of all ages shooting right along with the men & women. It's a great way to spend part of your Sunday with family or people you enjoy competing with.

We usually leave Creekwood at 5:45 am every Sunday morning. unless of course the shoot is at Creekwood. We are the goofy ones that usually shoot the 8:00 flight. On the way home we usually stop for breakfast an fill up with gas at the Indian reservation if it's on the way home. If you are interested in joining us some Sunday or getting the particulars call Ben or Marcia at (585) 392-2030. You have to pre-register for each weeks shoot by calling Connie at Bison Archery (716) 826-1102.
