420 Pro/Am Tournament 2010:
The computer on the table is the one I have
been tied to for two weeks, setting up data bases
for
the shooters and all the different classes, figuring payouts for the Pros and
Amateurs, and
how we
were going to do things in the Youth Division. At 68 years old I found out I can
still
function with
not much sleep. This event was a total team event - THANK YOU one and all.
The names of the team members are listed on the bottom of the results sheet.

These pictures were taken on Friday morning
before the practice session started at 1:00pm.
The
shop is so picked up and pretty, it doesn't look like our shop. The flowers on
the table
are my bride's
from her birthday yesterday. We will do her birthday later.

This was billed on our web site as the best thing Creekwood has
ever done, and it was "THE
BEST
THING WE EVER DID". The only negative thing was the storm that came up the East
Coast and
buried Shane Wills and Jesse Broadwater. The picture below is Jesse's truck, and
the message he
sent me said, "I don't think we woulda made it anyhow, Ben LOL!"

The shooters came in and registered at the counter and picked up there envelopes
containing there score
cards and lane assignments. Below Christie Colin and Dick Reuter
are getting set
up.

Practice started at 1:00 pm on Friday and we had subs, fresh
fruit, chips and dips out.
Below Samantha Neal a Pro for PSE and her mom and dad, Tracy and Pamela who also
competed were
grabbing a little chow. Meanwhile the crew and refs are all assembled
and ready
for the first
scores to come in.

Before scoring the last end of each line we took a group picture
of everyone who
shot.
The only line I didn't get a picture of was the Friday 7:00pm line, but seeing
everyone
shot twice your picture is here.

liked a lot.

Chuck Cooley took 1st Pro Male FS Chuck with his daughter a Cheerleader
in Watkins Glen

Chuck is a Optometrist and owns Feather Visions located in
Ithaca, NY. Feather Visions
is a innovator in optics in the archery industry.
Chuck wants to be a sponsor of the 420
Tournament in 2011.

Christie Colin (center) took 1st Pro Female FS Samantha Neal took 2nd Pro Female FS
When Christie and Samantha get there BIG CHECKS there pictures will go in here. These
two
young
women
are as serious as you can get when it comes to representing
archery in this country.

Jeff Human took 1st Place Pro Male BHFS He doesn't brag at all, but has world records.
Jeff has started his own coaching business. I do not know what his rates are or
how many
people he is willing
to coach, but I can tell you Jeff can coach you on
the mechanics of
making the shot, but more than that,

he understands the mental side of making the shot. He is always experimenting
with things
in archery.

Brad Carney only person to shoot 5
inside X's
in Tournament

Ricky Smith Shot highest score in the Tournament and of course took
1st place Amateur Freestyle
Score 753 (out of 840) 98 X's and 55 Inside X's

Ricky worked at Creekwood for many years, just
recently graduated from college and
plans on
spending more time with his bow now. It wouldn't
surprise me if he was
asked to turn Pro soon.

Ron Coyle took 1st Amateur Male Senior FS
and won $200.00 Contingency Money
from
ELITE
ARCHERY with 7 shooters in his class. I could not run my business
without Ron.
He is a friend,
a great guy to be around and a guy that is tough to beat.
2nd place NAA
Nationals in 2008, a real
champion. Ron is a great ambassador for
archery and if he sets up your bow, you can't have any excuses.

You senior Male Freestyle
Shooters better bring your game
when you take on this guy.
Diane Calleri took 1st Place Armature A-F-S-FS

This is the ELITE ARCHERY crew - Do you believe Peter
Crawford (Elite Owner) is shooting
paper? On the right Pete is explaining to his son how it is
important to shoot the X's just as
fast as you possibly can. His record in his tournament, his first tournament, was 5 arrows in
54 seconds. If you can't kill
it and eat it Pete really isn't into it yet, but he can shoot. Pete took
4th
place in his division.

This is not the BIG M & T Bank,
but this is the Hilton NY branch of M & T which is
Creekwood's bank for 16 years.

They are a great bunch of people who have had
a lot of faith in
and promote Creekwood Archery.

This is Petineries Deli where the subs came from and where many
of the shooters went to
get there own food, pizza, gas and convieance store type things.
They are just around the corner.
Just north of Petineries is the Lake Ontario Winery and Biestro, which
gave us lunches for two and the bottle of wine for one of our Pro's
which Jesse Broadwater won. Thank Samantha
for drawing your name Jessee
Tom Sawyer took 1st Amateur Male Senior BHFS

Lori Moses took 1st
