GILES CROSIER: 11/12/17
          142 LB
          8 Point 122 1/8" CROSSBOW BUCK

I have been waiting 3 days to write this story. Nelson,
Giles father called me and was all excited. When you
love hunting the way Nelson does and your son takes
his 5 and 6 year old granddaughters hunting and you
harvest a great buck like this that is memories on
steroids.

I said how did the girls react at such a young age. Giles
said they have been around this all there lives and
thought nothing of it.

They had been in the elevated ground blind only 14 minutes
when Giles 5 year old daughter said deer and pointed at it.

Giles had told them not to talk if they see something, but she was watching
behind the blind where daddy couldn't see. Giles said, honey sit down and
let daddy see. There blind is raised up about 6 feet off the ground. The shot
was made at 10:58am. It was at 20 yards and the buck only went 50 yards.
They actually saw it go down. It was kind of a awkward shot, like a 45 degree
angle behind the blind where there were no windows. Because of that Giles
had a hard time getting into the scope, but when he did the cheapest Running's
Fixed Blade Broadhead did the job. The rest is history and I'm sure there are
two little girls that will never forget that day.

I am also sure Nelson will never forget the day. It won't be long
before these two young ladies will be shooting a bow.

LIFE  IS GOOD,
REALLY GOOD !
