8 Point 110 4/8" BUCK
This young couple Bob & Corrin Marsala woke up this
morning. There furnace was broke, Corrin had a doctors
appointment and life went on as normal.
Bob went bowhunting, Corrin went off to the doctors
and after we got done weighing and scoring the buck
they were meeting the furnace man to turn the heat
back on.
Bob was hunting near Murrey, NY. The water where he
was hunting was ridicules. He said with hip boots he
could have gotten to his stand dry. Lots of Wood Ducks
swimming around, but out of bow range.
From his stand he saw a buck across the road. Then a
car came by and the buck went back in the woods. Then
two bucks came out and crossed the road. To get to
where Bob's stand was the buck was going thru water
up to his chest.
The buck kept coming and then Bob thought the buck
winded him, turned and started circling him. Bob had
doe pee behind his stand and when he figured he would
scent that, Bob grunted. That was all it took. The buck
came in for a 25 yard shot at 7:00am (Burr 22 degrees)
and the buck only went about 35 yards.
Bob was using a SpitFire broadhead.
This is his biggest buck with a bow.
