Ben's comment as of 10/30/16: With 6 deer in so far in the contest, plus 9 WCS's - the contest is started off slow, but hold on, things are starting to move:
This Creekwood Deer Contest ends November 18th, the Friday before Gun Season. Opening day we had a customer who gut shot a doe because he couldn't see thru his peep and a customer who lost a nice buck because his Rage broadhead failed. He lost a buck last year also with a Rage, but their marketing is so convincing he kept using them. He came in and purchased 100 grain Striker broadheads, and left the shop very happy. Before using Rage broadheads he hunted with Strikers. If it aint broke, don't fix it ! Oh yes, we fixed the guys peep also. The leaves are beginning to fall, but not really enough yet. The stress on the trees from the drought is causing a lot of the leaves to fall. The WCS's are taking over the contest. Come on you bowhunters in the contest. Get the lead out ! The woods are quiet with all the rain, it is cooling off and the bucks are starting to run like you did when you were a teenager. The Young Adults now have a BUCK in. LIFE IS GOOD ! With Ridge, Ralph & Jim in just the last few days, it says now is the time to get out in the woods and get the stink blown off you. The time has come the walrus said.

If your interested, here are my political views read on. If your not interested,
like I say below, you deserve what you get and have, and don't read them. I
put my views here because most gun owners don't vote. You check the
numbers. What I'm saying is true. If they did vote we would have different
leadership in Albany. If you keep doing the same thing, don't expect different
results. That is the definition of insanity.
If you don't like our countries economy, how we interface with ISIS, our
Mexican border issues, how the US government spends your tax money
abroad and how your laws are being enforced, then I strongly suggest you
consider voting for Donald Trump. If you or I did what Hillary has done we
would be in jail. A vote for her is a vote for you to loose your 2nd
Amendment rights and just more of the same. The 3 trillion we have spent
in the far east in the last 8 years would fix every road and bridge in this
country twice. A vote for Hillary will give you more of the same. Trump
might not fix all this countries problems, but he will damn sure try.
Get out and vote.
47% of the people in this country do not pay taxes and probably voted for
Obama, because life works for them just fine. Of the 53% majority left, only
65% of them vote because the other 35% of them don't vote because politics
has them upset for one reason or another. YOU DO THE MATH! We all know
the definition of insanity is not changing anything and expecting a different
result. The average family income is down OVER $4800.00 from two years ago.
If that doesn't get your attention, then you deserve what you get. What
matters, the only thing that matters is we need a change. Who knows what,
who did what, who said what, who promised what, doesn't matter, WE NEED
A CHANGE, and if we don't get it, well it's not like me to say, but, LIFE WILL
NOT BE AS GOOD IN 2017 ! Four days before the election I had a typical
non-voter in the shop and I kind of got in his face. He said he never voted
unless the person he wanted was running. I said who do you want? He said
not one of our options, but he's so pissed off at politics in general he is not
going to go write in a name. I don't get it. He sure had a whole bunch of
opinions for a person that doesn't vote.
GOD BLESS AMERICA (Get your butt out and vote - some of my relatives
and yours gave there lives for your right to vote - cherish it.)
