Many, many years ago I was eating lunch in the Hilton
Family Restaurant when I struck up a conversation with
Dan's dad. He was so proud in the fact he had just
purchased lifetime hunting licenses for his two sons,
who in my memory were less than 9 or 10 years old.
I think dad got his moneys worth with such a wonderful
gift.
This is Dan's biggest buck ever with gun or bow.
The shot was 35 yards with a PSE bow he likes very
much and the buck only went 30 yards.
He was hunting in North Greece with his two buddies,
Sam and Joey, it was 4:00 in the afternoon and the
broadhead was a 100 grain Rage.
He had just revived and sent a text message with
his two hunting buddies, so just after that when he
texted them he needed help dragging, they didn't
believe him. If Dan had been hunting by himself, I
don't think he could have dealt with this monster by
himself. Adrenalin can only get you so far.
