127 LB 4 POINT BUCK
For those of you who know Tom, this is not news,
but in case you don't know him here is a little
information.
Tom loves hunting the big woods. By that I mean,
Tom will go hunting where the majority of my
customers do not. Growing up in the Adirondacks,
has made him totally comfortable in the big woods.
This 4 pointer was taken on state land where no
one else bowhunts.
Today was a little different because some other
bowhunter gave this buck a haircut without ever
cutting the skin. If whoever made the shave shot
made it with the sun out, I bet that was a sight for
sore eyes. Over the summer, Tom had seen two
real nice bucks, that he was hoping he could meat
up with one, between the green beans and mashed
potatoes during bow season. He was hunting out of
his camp near Belfast, NY for 8 days and only saw
4 deer. During the early season he saw two bucks
and four does in one day. On his vacation week,
deer were few and far between, BUT,
LIFE IS STILL GOOD !
