NATE LOESCHER: 10/19/05
160 LB
10 POINT - 106 5/8"
GOOD DAY - BAD DAY - GOOD DAY - NO, GREAT DAY
You win a little money at lunch - Good Day
You miss a Doe - Bad Day
You harvest a assume 10 Point Buck - GREAT DAY
It's a day Nate will never forget. To say this guy wasn't
excited
would be the biggest lie told on 10/19/05.
The place is Holley, N.Y. home of Stockham Lumber. The best
lumber company in the entire area.
The time is 6:45 pm. The 100 grain Muzzy ready to go on
it's mission.
The airmail message Nate sends is only 8 yards.
The final resting place (dirt nap) is within sight, 30 yards
away.
Nate said; "My boss is the one that talked me into bowhunting
and he said I would love it so much I would probably quit gun
hunting". I think he may be right.
Bowhunting is a sport that can jerk you up and down an
emotional
flag pole like you wouldn't believe. One moment you are all down
and wondering what the heck you did wrong and the next minute
you are on top of cloud nine wondering how life could possibly be
any better. And then you realize:
LIFE IS GOOD !
