thinking I am running out of time. Another
year with no big bow buck. I always get one
with a gun. When am I going to get a decent
buck with my bow?
Well Andy got his wish at 5:10 PM.
LIFE IS GOOD !
Andy's new HOYT XTec got the job done.
The buck didn't go fifty yards.
He waited twenty minutes, walked over and
a dream came true.
A bowhunter, a bow, a thunderhead, a well
placed shot equals a short blood trail and a
long dirt nap!

Now it's gun season. The shot is eight yards.
The weapon is Remington. The XTec is home
in it's case. All bow season this buck was
never seen. On November 23rd a doe got this
buck in trouble along the edge of a corn field.
LIFE IS STILL GOOD ! The only
difference is the holes are round instead of
triangular.
